IN LIGHT OF MOVING IMAGES

2014-17; various duration; 16mm and HD digital

A series of installations exploring projected light. Each work combines multiple forms of digital and analogue imagery, encompassing computer-generated animation, 16mm archival film and social media data. Through these technological configurations, the series reveals an array of textures and qualities of light. Situated between poetic, diaristic and experimental processes, these installations question the ubiquitous circulation of photographic content and highlight a blurring between notions of the real and the staged in cinematic imagery.
